K9 Vape Detection Services is for concerned parents and teachers who value early detection and intervention for students who may be exposed to the harmful effects of vaping.
Vaping delivers an enormous amount of addictive nicotine and other harmful substances with an easy delivery method of flavours specifically designed to attract children.
The uptake of vaping by young people is increasing.
Research shows that in WA, 13.5% of school students aged 12 to 17 years, have tried an E-cigarette (vape).
Our handlers and Canines are specifically trained to detect where the odour of vapes are or have been in order for parents and teachers to make informed decisions and conduct responsible discussions with young people and identify those at risk of becoming addicted or increasing an addiction.
Our handlers can come to your school at an agreed time and deliver a non-intrusive and confidential search to assist teachers and parents in identifying areas where a vape may be hidden and where a vape may have been.
